France was my favorite of the countries we visited during the tour. Our route covered the entire length of the country, and introduced us to France's many faces - the metropolitan capital of Paris, the quiet, vineyard countryside of Beaujolais, the quaint historicism of Lyon and Avignon and the Riviera culture of coastal Nice.
